In 2015 I took my first pottery class at the Richfield Art Studio in Richfield, Ohio. I loved it from the very beginning. The owner of the Richfield Art Studio, Sarah Costic, was a wonderful teacher. I continued taking classes and eventually began teaching a beginners pottery class at the studio. There were a lot of wonderful people creating at that studio. There was inspiration everywhere! The studio closed in late 2016 and I continued making pottery in my small home studio.
I retired from my IT career at the end of 2021 and relocated to Sebastian, Florida hoping to never see snow again and to be closer to my parents who had retired here a few years ago.
My home in Florida had a space that was perfect for my pottery studio. I continue to enjoy hand building and throwing on the potter’s wheel free from the obligations of a “real job”. I have recently started my own small business selling my creations at local craft fairs.
